I think they wouldn't release Nintendo related questions just in case public opinion was against their existing plans. They wouldn't want to be seen to be going against lots of owners. And remember, not everyone votes so the channel cannot be seen as a definite opinion of Wii owners.

i love the everybody votes channel. i like finding out answers of wide sample ranges, to questions i would never think to ask anyone, or even myself. my main gripe is the cleanliness of questions we would ask. really guys, who else is wondering what percentage of this country (or world) has been disgnosed with VD of any kind? maybe sexual orientation questions? something more fun is all.
