Lake Temple used wrong Key in wrong order

Guys need help, as I think im in a glitch.
In the lake temple stage I have defeated the Frog King, however I didnt do it in the correct order as I have defeated him WITHOUT raising the water level. The door to the water level lever is locked as I used the key to open the boss stage.
Anyway I can get finish this stage now?
I REALLY dont want to start from scratch as I have played over 20 hours.

As LONG as you can kill the boos ur oky. I just finished the Arbiter's temple. Right after the Water temple. I did raise the water, was VERY fraustarting and confusing, but then again it was fun. I dont think u have to start over, but i dont know how u got to the frog lvl. I dont think you even have to start over too. BUt i dont know how to help you.

...There's a frog? I just got out of the temple, and all I remember is an octopus with an eyeball and a fat slug with piranhas on his back.

The Frog was the mid boss. You cant beat the water temple or the desert temple without the clawshot. The Frog in the water temple drops the clawshot. -.-

Ooooh that thing was a frog...
Yea...you need that clawshot.
