2GB is a good size for R4. I've put ~60 games on it and hardly found that many games I want to play. You'll need more room if you are going to play media on it though. SUPER (freeware for video conversion by eRightsoft) has just added DS file type to their supported file type if you are interested in watching video/movie on your DS.
