Just got my Wii today -- Is there any online play?

Just wondering if you can play any games against friends online like you can with Xbox live. I saw this Mario and Sonic Olympic game just came out, it seems kind of pointless to buy this game if you can't play it against people online.

Mario Strikers Charged and Medal Of Honor Heroes are great online games.

M and S at the Olympics is not an online game as such you can't play other People, but you can compare scores on line
