Is there alien life out there?

Given just how many planets are out there and just how versatile life is, it seems incredibly unlikely that we're the only life in the Universe.

The universe is huge...so I don't see why it's a ridiculous idea.

I am a firm believer in God, but to think we're His only creations seems a little odd. We're part of a vast mosaic of life. I only hope we make contact with a part of the rest in my lifetime...
