I had to make a choice...

I am away from home on business and will be away for 4 months. The choice I had to make was to take my Wii or my PS3, I took the PS3 and I stand by that choice. To tell you the truth I dont think I played my Wii since Christmas, its just the same thing over and over again. The best game I have is the original Mario on my virtual console. Dont get me wrong Zelda is fun, but when its done its done.

I am playing Oblivion now, this game is endless. I can travel anywhere and do anything. Also the graphics and details are beautiful. I like my Wii for fun with groups and parties, but I am a gamer. I need Hidef, large games, beautiful detail and the Blu-Ray sure looks nice too. I have a small collection of those things accumulating as well.

Well I just wanted to say, that we choosing a gamers system, I think I made, in fact I know I made the right choice on how to game while away from home. Just so you know, my Wii is totally a dust collector, my non-gamer fiance is home and plays it from time to time.

have you modded it so you can play all oldschool nintendo games and ps1 games yet?

No, I am lame. I keep updating my firmware to get the most out of the remote play. Therefore Homebrew wont work for me. I enjoy the free demos and other content Sony provides though. I should buy another one and let that be the modded one. But I am cheap, so I probably wont.

Its not that Sony fanboys emulate only nintendo games, but its all gamers that do it. For most of us, our first systems were NES followed by SNES. There was no Sony or MS, so these are the games that started it all for us. So seeing these games emulated on the PSP does not suggest there are problems with Sony Fanboys, but simply showing that this is where it all began.

I think using the Wii would have been a better choice [It's lighter and easier]
But taking the PSP is certainly a GOOD option.
