very old commercial. It did get kinda of annoying after a while. But now there's a "Bad Boy" commercial which basically the same commercial but saying "I am a Salesman", that's even more annoying.

Yes this was from a commercial, from a Molson Canadian (beer) commercial a few years ago. The commercial was known as "Joe Canadian" and was a huge hit.

And no, most Canadians do not speak French. I'd wager our percentage of French speaking citizens is a good deal lower then the US's percentage of Spanish speaking citizens.

Most of us have to take French class in grade 9 at least (first year of highschool), and have the option to continue taking it we want to.
