haha! I wanted a red Wii, but w/ smash coming around the corner, I got anxious and bought one. now the game has been delayed and damn, I should have waited. who knows? maybe the colored Wii's would have been out before.
28 here and been playing on Ninty consoles since the NES came out. Quite disturbing to think that i was staying up all night to complete the original super mario bros before a fair few of you were even born......
That's actaully depressed me.
Was wondering though, what do you younger people say up to 18 think about us late twenties and above gamers? Do you think we are sad? Think it's good that we still play (and i am die hard nintendo, bought all Ninty consoles since the SNES on release day, aswell as having a PS1, 2, xbox and dreamcast...)? Do you think you'll still be playing ten, twenty, thirty years down the line? I don't plan to stop anytime soon.
Also, what do you think of the VC games - realise off topic but nearly all the nitnendo ones i played, or indeed still have original versions off, so how is it too explore nintendo's history? Specifcally the NEs and SNES days?
I think it's awesome that people don't stop playing when they turn into a quote unquote adult. It's nice to see the older folks that don't have a stick up their rear.
Anywho, I'm 15, about 6 months away from being 16. My Dad (almost 40) and my brothers (21&19), are all into gaming, too. It's a family affair
