How Old Are All The Wii Owners in Here

There was a recent survey done of gamers. Overall the average gamers age is 32. A couple years ago it was 27. The teens who play games are actually in the minority by far...

The older ages here have nothing to do with this system. Most gamers ARE older.

I'm 26. Is this recent study stuff true? That's awesome! Who did the study or where did you hear about it?

since i last posted on page like 5 haha, i noticed how many older people such as myself, are comming out of the wood work and saying "omg theres like people between 11-16" on here.

i already knew that and only with CERTAIN members can you see right through their ages. i get "jill youre 22?!!! i thought you were like 30" gee compliment and all but i dont wanna be 30! my bfs 34 im already vicariously there lol.

in any event, some members you always find to be YOUNGER than you think because of the way they type or older because they can express views like an adult.

Well said cannon, its true. People sometimes are assumed to be older becuase of the way they express their opinions. The 10 years olds will blurt out stupid asumptions about anything, and will be seen as idiots. Where as the more mture will talk in detail and better english.

I just feel as though this assumption of Nintendo fans being under the age of 14 is inaccurate. I understand that there's people on here that are of a higher or lower maturity than their age group, but I can't help but feel that some find it hard to believe just because Nintendo is meant to be "for kids".

I do think though, that some opinions on what others' say may change when they tell them their age. Basic ageism, but I do think it happens.

Well, I used to be won of them ''lol'' and I still think the ps3 and xbox is the more mature consoles hehehe...''sorry bra'' But, I've had all nintendo console when I was a kid, buying the wii never once came into mind but, my girlfriend bought it, and...I'm the kind of man who is not ashamed to admit his mistakes...but here I go...she sure did the right thing buying the wii....it rocks I still want to buy a ps3 though
