when you purchase HD cables, the thing you want to look for is shielding. cables that are well shielded will resist interference from all the other mumbo jumbo behind your tv.

i got a pair of $20 at best buy and wasnt impressed, so i went back and exchanged them for the $50 psyclones... dual shielded with gold plated connectors... serious improvement in picture quality.
