This weekend's edition of Frosty Pints was a blast for our GoldenEye 007 clan. In fact, we even hosted an off-the-wall tournament entitled "Crouching Gunslinger, Hidden Dragon" in which we could only use melee attacks while crouching. Here is the highlight video of the good times had by all:

GS Arcade Addition - There are times when a significant other just HAS to watch Downton Abbey (Really? Must we?), so our television is taken and we can't get in game. One way to get a temporary fix while waiting is to play some web based arcade games. That is why, at the Gunslingers, we install a new game every week. This week's addition is the Old West themed game, Sheriff The Justice!

Member Milestone! The Gunslinger roster has just got mightier! As of this week, the overall Gunslingers clan is officially over 3,700 members. Incredible! If you are a parent or hard working adult gamer thinking of joining our group, here is a passage I wrote that best sums up what we are about. If that describes what you are looking for in your gaming experience, join the Gunslingers!

The Gunslingers is an oasis for parent and hard working adult gamers from around the world that was formed back in June, 2007. The underlining goal of our group is to create a gaming environment that is fun yet civil and friendly for mature, casual gamers. It is a goal far too uncommon in the gaming community, and is not often honestly sought. For anyone wishing to escape the lulls of silly clan probation periods, distinct divides in community ranks, unrealistic demands of attendance, and continual ugliness of clan wars, the Gunslingers is your haven. We have attracted thousands of like-minded adults, so you are not alone in your wants.

The fruit of the Gunslingers is being continuously surrounded by folks sharing your general gaming wants and perspectives. There is plenty of obligations and negativity wishing to take up your time in your career, in your personal life, and certainly during your online travels. It doesn’t need to be that way. The Gunslingers clan, however existential as it may seem, seek to inject some positivity and even escapism in your daily obligations. Come. Kick your feet up. Decompress. Be merry! Everyone deserves that, and, regardless if you are new to online gaming or a veteran, you will be welcomed by the rest of us. Share in our cheer!

Additionally, the talent of GS*Serpents_Heart deserves some attention. He has been kind enough to share four of his songs written and performed by his heavy metal band, Beyond Within. He is the band's guitarist and songwriter, and all four of the tracks have been added to the GS Jukebox!

The GS Jukebox is a clan playlist comprised entirely of the musical talent of fellow Gunslinger members. The feature is located in the GS Forum and on every chat page.

This sort of member made content is a fine example of why having a group exclusively for older gamers is such a rewarding experience. We have members from all around the world, in all types of professions, and wielding all sorts of unique experiences. They all have one thread that ties them all together, however. They are all taking part in a clan that treats the online gaming experience like hanging out with a bunch of drinking buddies after a hard day's work. Tonight is the seasonal time of the year when all the Gunslinger Leaders get together and discuss the current state of the clan, ideas we would like to implement, and, most importantly, what future Nintendo titles GS will have a clan for in the second half of 2012. Before I get into that, however, here are the Nintendo games we currently have a clan for and any fellow adult reading this message is welcome to join us:

GoldenEye 007 - On day one, hour one the GoldenEye Gunslingers clan has been sporting tags while everyone else was trying to decide whether or not the game could even sustain them. Fast forward over a year later, GS is still active in-game daily and have yet another tournament scheduled for this weekend.

Mario Kart 7 - It seems forever ago that GS was on a freewebs site, cutting our teeth in Mario Kart Wii. Now, some of the very first members to join us for MKW are tearing up the tracks on the 3DS. We have our own community code, daily races, and we are truly the only Mario Kart 7 clan exclusively for fellow parent and adult gamers.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Call of Duty has been part of the lifeblood of GS on all the consoles for some time now, and the Wii version is quite fun. GS*Captain Scarlet captains the Wii crew, and MerkyWater is hosting a tournament this weekend for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Wii Gunslingers.

Kid Icarus - We are still testing the waters with this title, but we already sport a Master List of GS members who have the game and are duking it out in online arenas.

Again, the above are our present Nintendo fronts. What's in the future for the GS clan? Well, there are a lot of unknowns with the Nintendo WiiU around the retail corner, but there is one sure fixture for our Nintendo Wii members. Last Story. With online co-op and competitive modes, you can rest assured you will see the Last Story Gunslingers sporting their tags online.

Join the Gunslingers now to enjoy our current clan fronts, and you will have a full roster of friends by the time the games you will be playing later arrive.
