Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock

Our nearest Best Buy had at least 30 of these stacked on the floor in their store. Is it true that there is no 2nd guitar made to purchase seperately for the Wii version? That's what the Best Buy dude told me.

Sovieto- I'm guessing they just haven't updated the site yet since yesterday...or they forgot about it :)

laurie lu- From what I've heard what the dude told you at best buy is correct...but later I'm sure they will release a guitar you can buy with out the game...just give it time

I had to take my Wiimote jacket off....I think i'm just gonna get another wiimote thats dedicated for the guitar.

And unfortunately, yes, there is no single guitar for purchase yet. I have a feeling they'll wait till right before Thanksgiving for all the shopping freaks.

so ive done searches etc. and i havent found the answer,
but can i play it with my fight hand? opposite of the normal way? is the guitar set in a way that can be flipped to allow for this, and also the fretboard on the screen to be flipped?

Got the LAST copy from one of the local Wal-Marts last night at around 6:30pm for my Wii. They had a few copies for other systems left though.

I went by Circuit City too though, and they had none left for the Wii, when I asked the guy in the store, he said they only even got 4 copies for the Wii... Pretty sad of the moronic store manager to only ask for 4 copies... The guy said that they got like 40 copies for the PS2 though.

Anyways, was up till 1am letting & watching my brother play last night. Our first time ever playing, and neither of us are very good at it yet, but it IS loads of FUN!

they dont request like normal, they arent necessarily evem told how many copies they are going to get. the games just show up.

Question?

Can you navigate all the menus of the game with the Wii-mote stuck in the guitar? I mean the menus for the game not the Wii menus to load the game?

If I have a 2nd remote outside the guitar can I just use it to start the game and then power up the other remote in the guitar to play the game?

What I am saying is that I don't want to have to take the wii-mote out of the guitar everytime just to start the game up.

How easy is it to pop the remote in and out of the guitar? Does it look like it will get loose and fall out or bend the shell jack at the bottom of the wii-mote?

Yes, you can navigate all the GH 3 menu's with just the guitar controller (no need to remove the Wii-mote).

Yes, you can just you your player 2 wii-mote to start the game from the main wii menu boot up screen.

It fits in the guitar fine for me without issue, granted you can't have a glove or anything like that on the wii-mote. I was able to leave my wrist strap on it though, and it fit fine inside the guitar. I wouldn't really want to be taking in and out of the guitar 10 times a day or anything, but it doesn't seem all that difficult.

Even IF the managers don't have a say, it was pretty dumb on someones part to only have 4 copies of such a popular game show up to a store for the most popular 'current gen' platform, and 40+ for an another older platform.
It should have been a little more balanced than that...

in career mode you should be able to change your guitar, and out fit

I can change my outfit, but it still doesn't allow me to change to the multiple guitars I've purchased, no matter what character, in career mode.

no but my wii isn't connected to the interweb mommentarily

anyways do people who play m,edium use their pinky finger for the blue button, i still can't decide if i should do that or just move my ring finger over

it's really uncomfortable when i use my pinky
