Getting videos on ipod

I have a 3rd generation ipod nano and a video in my video library on itunes. The video is in mp4 format but when I click sync Ipod the video is not put my ipod. So how do i put the video on it?

I have a 3rd gen ipod nano as well. But to be honest. I have never tried to add a video as of yet anyway. And I have had this thing like 2 months.

i think you may want to download this.....i dont know too much about formats and stuff but here is how i get videos on my ipod.....i download a video and then i convert it to ipod acceptable sofware by using videoera.............you can download it by serching it on google.......and then after its convert it....you do the rest..........its not very dificcult

I've had little success converting videos to mp4 for my ipod, I kind of gave up, But I will try again if this software works.
