General Forum Suggestions

PC section under Console Forums, AMIRITE???

I said this before too, the PC's the biggest Console of them all, even old people use them!
One time i even saw like a 5 year old using it too!
How many of these "Suggestions" even get looked at maan?

The thought of a debate lounge is beginning to grow on me.

Is there any reason why you guys [in authority] would be opposed to it? Breeding ground for flaming and trolling? I think it would be a good idea, nonetheless.

Stupid thing wont let me space my outline, FCK. Made it using letters, maybe that will help people read it

I also suggest a re-organization of the forum. Just like move stuff around, put some new things here and there, take out some old things. Its not really...you know...fluent. Im not expecting this to get any attention at all, but heres how i would do it.

Okay, starting at the top. First of all, this design is meant to decrease the size of each forum menu, and for it to work, you need to make it so that The sub-forums don't show up on the main forum menu.

Wii Forums-When looking at this, i thought immediately that alot of things could be combined. I decided that 2 sperate sub forums for the Console itself and its games. These 2 are the exception to the rule of not showing subforums on the main forum menu.
I thought that the Online and Hardware forums should be put under a Wii Console main forum, because they are both mainly part of the console itself.
Then with the Gaming subforum, i scrapped the Super Paper Mario+Mario Strikers Charged forums because they are not THE big games. Along with that, i added a Metroid Prime 3 Forum, because seriously it needed one.

Other Console Forums-With each individual console, i thought adding a seperate Hardware and Gaming subforum to each, Decreasing clutter. I also added a PC forum because it needed one of those as well
Then, with the Retro forum, i put a Forum for each major manufacturer as well as one for all other consoles. The reason for this is because ninty isnt the only one that has been making consoles for 10+ years (excuse microsoft)

The Lounge-I decided to put all of the lounge forums under one single Lounge Forum as sub forums.
Under the entertainment lounge subforum i put a music and TV/Movies subforum. Included in the TV/Movies forum is the Anime Lounge, because Anime really is just TV.
Then theres the design lounge, which is relatively the same, and the Off Topic Lounge which is self explanitory

Wii News-I wanted to move this forum down because it just didnt seem to belong up top there, lol.

Website Discussion-I decided to make a seperate forum for this and include the site feedback subforum with it. I also added a mod feedback forum because sometimes its nice to get positive feedback from the peons...

And there you go, thats how id reorginize the forums. Might not be the greatest, but it will help IMO.

OK,I want a Club Forum,Spam Forum,and Series Furum(Mario,Kirby etc)And We Need Bigger Sigs!!! I cant fit the names of the people in my Blooper Fan Club,and mabye we could put in two pics........ Oh and,mabye all the Fan Clubs could be on ONE THREAD,or have a Forum just for them... The Fan Club Threads should Return!!!!There not Cans,anybody can join if they want to!!!


P.S: Why is this Thread called GENARAL Forum Suggestions?...I dont know it sounds so.....general...and boring.....

Ion place some payment subscription/donation system already?
This all costs money, if all all donated like £1, it would help fund all of the above, and tell us how we can help too, i noticed in some site's you were forced to click on the adverts, shall we start clicking on the adverts like mad, are they pay per click ad's or other, mods know?

I'm sure that the adverts on the site were paid for by the companies. Thus, I doubt their pay per click ads.

In regards to Nick's ideas:

A seperate forum for both clubs and spam isn't necessary. If there were to be a forum added, it would be a spam section. However, we have something else in the works at the moment which should please everyone. As for the fan club threads are considered spam. Therefore, there was never really an appropriate section to post them in. Thus, they were removed.

A FAQ that you must read before you can join, including a 5 question quiz at the end of reading it.

And up to 200px sigs. 150 is fine by me, though.
