Europe has three quality WiiWare games released to the Shop Channel today, although nothing for the Virtual Console. First up, and earlier than expected, we have Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Justice for All (Capcom, 1,000 Wii Points). *The second game in the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney series finally makes it onto the Wii, featuring Phoenix Wright, the rookie defence lawyer with the flamboyant cross-examination style. This time around, Phoenix faces off against ruthless D.A. Franziska von Karma, as well as meeting a whole host of equally interesting characters, and maybe even getting some of them locked up!
Brain Cadets (Rising Star Games, 1,000 Wii Points) is the second WiiWare game released in Europe this week, and I like to think of it as Brain Training with added cruelty, in the shape of a relentless drill instructor who puts you through your paces with lots of mind-building exercises, at the same time as tossing the odd insult your way. Up to four people can play this unusual party game at once.
Last and by no means least we have the thrilling final part of Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 5 Rise of the Pirate God (Telltale Games, 1,000 Wii Points). In the finale of this fantastic series, LeChuck reveals some surprising new characteristics, Guybrush has met a shocking fate, and Elaine has it all to do. If you’ve been following the series, then this final part is an essential purchase!
