Rounding off the Hanabi Festival of previously unreleased-in-Europe games, it's sci-fi week!

Sin and Punishment- http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/570/sin-punishment-successor-to-the-earth.php
Cult classic on-rails shooter from Treasure, the makers of Gunstar Heroes and Ikaruga. Costs 1,200 points, but at least they've translated the menus into English.

Gradius III- http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/503/gradius-iii.php
Side scrolling shooter. Costs 900 points, despite not being any different to the American version.

Legend of Hero Tonma- http://www.vc-reviews.com/review/568/legend-of-hero-tonma.php
And of course, the usual TG-16 game, not related to the Hanabi Festival. Apparently a platformer/shooter hybrid. Reminds me of Capcom coin-op Mega Twins.

Sin and Punishment is a bit pricey, but it looks like a blast.

Imagine a game almost as hard as Lifeforce, only if you die once, you start that stage over. Unlike R-Type it's a lot easier to die in Gradius 3. I recommend this only to hard core gamers. This game can get godly hard. In one stage they drag the scene around really fast, I kept crashing into the walls, it was very painful, luckily I had Game Genie.

GRADIUS III???? As in Super Nintendo? uh, ok.......not even near the top echelon of difficult games. The last stages get tough, but if you memorize a pattern here and there, its definitely beatable.

Hey Sagema, quit YOUR bitching now.........
