Just do a short swing of the wiimote (not too short) and the sensor bar will detect as if you really swinged hard the place where the SB is doesnt matter

The Sensor Bar position doesn't matter because the Sensor Bar is not used for swinging. Learn your console buddy.

Doesn't this "cheat" defeat the whole purpose of the Wii sports games? Wii is supposed to be all about the new way of playing games.

If you are gonna throw fastballs this way, you might as well just play MVP Baseball (EA Sports) and use the "A" button to pitch.

The sensor bar is not used in baseball at all. Do you people not know how this thing works? As a matter of fact it's not used in any part of Wii Sports other than selecting what game you want to play (and you can do that with the d-pad).

It has two IR lights in it to determine where you are pointing the Wiimote at the screen. It has absolutely nothing to do swinging motions. If you aren't moving the cursor around the screen like a mouse on a PC, then you aren't using the sensor bar.
