downloadable games?

hi all
new user. once I setup my wifi on my wii how do I download games.

sorry if this is a repeat post im sure it is, but the search doesnt seem to work on my pc.

heard you can download like mario kart etc from a shop which you need wii points?


if theres a sticky thread or a common thread on this would somebody point me in the right direction please.

Once your Wii is connected to the internet, you can click on the Shop Channel. From there, you can select the Virtual Console option (which offers you to download old, retro NES, SNES, N64, Megadrive/Genesis, Turbografx and Neo Geo games) and search for games you would like to download. In case you don't have sufficient Wii points for the game, you will see a button option to add Wii points, and you can buy points online using a credit/debit card. The minimum points required for a single game is 500 points for a single NES game all the way to 900 points for some NeoGeo games. Hope this helps!
