Disappointed.

I don't know why you people feel the need to defend something so bad. I'M NOT BUYING THE GAME. I don't know how old you kids are but as an adult my hands are a little larger so using a stylus on a small screen means blocking out half of it. I don't need people trying to convince me to buy this game. I just don't want it. Did you read that? If you don't understand then read it again, cause it's just not happening. I don't mean to be a prick but it's like you guys aren't reading what I wrote. If you don't have any other suggestions for other games then just don't post anything. Tell your sisters or brothers about the game cause this guy just doesn't care about your reasons. Heck you haven't played the game, who knows, you might not like it. Know what the means? Money down the drain.

If the game had used the touch screen the way Pearl and Diamond used it, I'd have bought it. If the DS screen was 7 inches diag I'd have bought it. I just don't feel like controlling a game by tapping a ~3inch screen with a stick.
your hand would cover the whole thing? you look at the screen at a 90 degree angle? along with your hand in a perfect square fist? thats why you tilt the DS and since its all stylus you can either use your fingers, OR you can put your hand on one side where the screen isnt and click from there. now stop complaining.

now to the edit. no i dont, mario kart DS?

And you, sir, are some kind of arguement king...Don't ignore me and the games I've mentioned! take them into account: Contra 4, Metal Slug, Jam Sessions, Final Fantasy 3 and 4. did you read that? did I mention ANY Nintendo games?

I actually took your games into consideration. And I appreciate you actually listening to my request.

You don't mean to be a prick?? Your comments are the same as the 40,000 people who bombarded the BBC complaining about Jerry Springer: The Opera. None of them had actually experienced it to say whether it was good or bad. To judge something without trying it first seems at best pig headed, at worst downright dumb. You bring up this game in the OP and then expect people not to comment on that? Next time why not just look at the previous threads for peoples DS recommendations instead of trying to piss people off? If you haven't found it already the search button is on the right of your screen ------>

You don't mention what type of game you like playing so how can people offer you advice as to what you might like? Go on, be grown up and give us all a clue as to the type of game you want to play and then we might be able to help you.

In my first post I clearly stated I enjoyed RPG's. I understand this will make you feel stupid, but that just can't be avoided. I don't need to play the game to know I don't like it. I don't have the kind of disposable income to just buy a game to "give it a shot" by then Nintendo has already gotten my money and could care less about how I feel about the game. So please try to read next time to avoid any more embarrassment.

if it didn't have any navigating for triforce pieces, then it would have been better..get Jam Sessions for the DS, it's better than an RPG trust me

I officialy love you.

Jam Sessions FTW!

It has got its own game modes where you have to play some set tunes and it has its own songs programmed into it that you can play. Thats just the beginning. The main feature about Jam Sessions is that it is fully open ended, select the chords then play away. Pretty much a full proper guitar. I believe there is even an amp for it.

How exactly is Jam Sessions played? If you had to compare it to another game what would you use? Like Guitar Hero or something?

Contra 4 sounds good. When does that come out?

Nothing like guitar hero.

On the stylus screen there is the strings as a line. You basically run the pen over them to make the realistic guitar sound. Now on the D-Pad you choose up to 8 chords. You will then hold a button/s while strumming on the stylus screen.

I think I'll pick that up today when I get out of work. Is it hard to find? Or will gamestop have it?

You could solve the hand issue by buying a retractable stylus.
I looked one up.
Says it extends from a rectracted 3.5 inches, to an extended 5 inches.

That solve alot of problems for any game you could get needed extensive use of the stylus.

They will most likely have it.

I think it is $69.99 for the performance bundle which includes a mini amp:lol:

You know when you see a guitar plugged into a stereo type thing?

That is an amplifier 'Amp'.

Guitar hero has a Mini Amp then you can plug into your ds.

The amp comes with the performance bundle.

That sounds great. Do you have an objective or do you just make music?

There is a few objectives I believe, such as play along with the tune.

But the main thing is that it is an open ended game.
