Days Passed Away RP preview and sign up thread

@Neosquid
The only problem I have so far is with katana swordplay
Not to be rude but the more practical swordplay style in America would be fencing
and maybe even a rapier and dagger form

and the tai chi sword or the jian is more versatile than the katana anyway.

katanas just get better anime publicity for obvious reasons
it should be noted that Katanas where also used as a weapon in England for a while only because fire arms are illegal there. but none of them knew how to actually use a katana.

It would prolly only be with 1.3 percent of interest anyways...

Even less. I'm retired for a reason after all. :p

@ Nick: I liked it better before. Just sayin. It's fine the way it is.

I'mma pull a Yoshimitsu and say...

QUIET!

PLBBBBBBBBTTTTTHHHHHH! What the **** else would ya expect from a double-edged straight sword?

... I'm saddened because it's quite true...

[strike]Logic sucks. :/[/strike] Eh, as I've always said....wynaut? It's a little farfetched, but I think it's fine.

In England? Aye we were probably already using the Baseball bat design then.

That or the Claymore Sword...

I believe it was a very crappy model of Katana
IDK if Scotland had the same problem
I saw this one camera footage of a store being robbed and the robber had a katana

Claymores
they would be robbing the museums and medieval carnivals

Yep China made a better sword than Japan's
I wish I knew more about middle eastern swords though. It would be interesting to learn about Damascus steel

and was I the only one who caught the 1.3 reference? I am not even an old wiichat member!

lol. we'd know how to use them! We'd be used to using them as we took on a bunch of losers at the time.

In some areas yes, in others, no.
Sword combat - Jian wins
What other areas you be referring to

da fuq is a 1.3 reference
Down B: Counter: Hitmonchan blocks his face with his gloves, ready to counter any physical attack for 1.3 (hahaCK) seconds. He can only counter physical attacks, any projectile or magic based attack goes through.
Apparently you did not like it being 1.3 seconds
You wanted a straight up one second
and that joke has apparently never died
Ima make a character tonight. For pulse. Gonna reserve the Battallion Commander position. And CK... Get ur ass an SU up. Lol. Jk jk... It would prolly only be with 1.3 percent of interest anyways...

and i am too lazy to go through each post and find where you said that

I wonder if I know anyone offsite that would be interested in this RP.....

Stop wonderin' and go find out.

Versatility is not victory.

Craftsmanship, mah boi!

The swordsman and the style wins the fight
not the sword
