cute but deceptively hard japanese games

i never get sick of them. could be for any console or computer, yesteryear type stuff too but interested in some for the wii mostly. think of teen rated games with cheesy dialogue that still appeal to adults because of the difficulty level. here's a start:

monster hunter
okami
final fantasy fables: chocobo's dungeon

don't need to know much about the ff series personally, i remember those epic battles with emerald and ruby in ff7; on the whole the series isn't very hard.

I can get japenese ds games relatively easy, only thing is I don't speak it or under stand it.....

What things am I missing?

ok mattheu or anyone else who missed the point i'm trying to get suggestions for games to play. if they're all japanese, do you think any of them are hard in english?

edit-talking about games japanese in origin, not like a japanese import of cod, if there is such a thing...

Id have to say Okami, The Last Story and Tales of Graces. Theres so much to do in Graces its not funny.
