Controllers waste of money?

Wait I thought a Wii remote by itself is 40 bucks and the nunchuks are 30 so thats like 210 without tax??? Which is BS nintendo screwed us with remotes its so gay how much they cost plus you need batterys. If the Classic Remote can be sell for 20 bucks the nunchuks should be 20 too since all it is 3 buttons and a joystick.

Wiimotes are 40, and Nunchucks are 20.

That's 60 bucks.

Games are 50 bucks.


When you look at the competition, who's controllers are 50 bucks, and games 60, it kind tilts into the Wii's favor.

You'll be buying 3 wiimotes tops.
But if you had an Xbox 360 or a PS3, I can be pretty sure you'll buy more than three games.

Lemme do some math for ya.



3 Wii controller combos = $180

3 Xbox 360/PS3 controllers = $150


5 Wii games = $250

5 Xbox 360/PS3 games = $300


3 Wii controllers + 5 games = $430

3 Xbox 306/PS3 controllers + 5 games = $450


But that's if you're buying 5 games.
And I have around 15-20 gamecube games.


So when you think about it, Nintendo's really thinking about our pockets. How they can get the most out of us without draining us as much as the competition.

For me, I am going to get a t least game, until I get tired of it(not including Wii Sports). 1 Extra Wii-Mote and Nuchuck, because only 2 people in my family are huge game players. By the end of the year.

1 Wii Games = $50
1 PS3/360 Games = $60

1 Combo Controllers~Wii = $60
1 Controller~PS3/360 = $60

1 Wii = $250
1 PS3 = $400/500
1 360 = $300/400

Wii Set = $370
PS3 Set = $520/620
360 Set = $420/520 (Depends, because some prices went down).

I think the Wii is set for me.

i already got a wii with 4 controllers/4 nunchucks...and then exicte truck and supermoneky ball...cause i wanted it..then for x-mas my rents got me a ps3(its in there closet..) what stuff should i get for it..or for the wii?
