connecting a wireless router to a modem+router

i am trying to connect my wii to the internet, but so far i have not been sucessful.

i was wondering if it is possible to connect a wireless router to a wired modem with an inbuilt router?, or is it impossible to connect 2 routers at the same time??

My setup is Modem connected to wireless router via cable, ethernet cable linking the Computer's to the wireless router.
Wii and DS wireless from router.

Dunno if the modem/router combination effects your connection.

I work for a cable ISP as a tech and I have not heard of anyone having a problem connecting both- Your gateway should not have an issue with another router. Be sure when hooking up your router to powercycle the gateway first then after it has sync, plug in your router.
