On the side of the wiimote there is a gap for dirt that is annoying. I use a tooth pic for that

yea, it is in that place. But i will use compressed air anyway.

nintendo say use a lightly damp unused toothbrush but u have to turn the wiimote upside down if ur tackling dirt thats not on the surface

Use a q tip to get around the buttons.

I did the soapy water thing after my nephew got done with the wii. Works perfectly. Ninty makes their stuff really well, the buttons are all sealed and everything.
