While I'm guessing some games may, many past GC games wouldn't work very well with the Classic con because unlike the GC con, the Classic is lacking analog triggers (triggers that can be pulled like a real gun trigger) which many GC games required. The Classic con just has two shoulder buttons. But there's nothing stopping Nintendo or a 3rd party making basically a Classic-controller-shaped Wavebird, which would give you the feel of the Classic con, but the ability to play pretty much any game and all they would have to do is add some face buttons and true triggers.:idea:Jenova said:Why wouldn't the classic controller work on Gamecube games? That makes aboslutely no sence at all. The Classic Controller has X, Y, and C buttons, and only the gamecube has those.
