Cave of Ordeals

I finally beat the two Darknuts. Went into the next room and met with the Great Fairy. I finally thought I had beaten this cave. I then went into the next room and needed to use the spinner. I thought I was home free only to be confronted by about 10 armos knight. By then, my weapons were fully exhausted.

Should I have just used the spinner and escaped.

Any comments would be helpful as I tried this Cave of Ordeals several times only to come so close to victory.

Cave ofOrdeals

I am playing the Gamecube version of Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. I have watched a few videos of the Finale of the 50th Floor with the Darknuts of which there are three - only two in the Gamecube version - this is the completion the the ordeal for the Wii version.

Not sure why each version would be different.

Any comments.
