Well this thread isn't really even about black ops.
Not really, we need to start a new thread. This thread sucks.

I head there will be no nuke
well if it is based during the cold war when they didn't use the nukes they had that's not much of a surprise but I thought they would have it available any way

Cold war was 1947-1991 (technically) and the Vietnam War was fought between communists and Americans etc, so... and It is during the the Vietnam war because other parts of the missions are in Cuba (cuba missile crisis 1962?) and possibly in Siberia (not sure about that one) therefore it is set in the Cold War. keep up on your historywell if it is based during the cold war when they didn't use the nukes they had that's not much of a surprise but I thought they would have it available any way
Umm its not based in the cold war because in the cold war there wasnt actually any fighting... keep up on your history dude lol

From CoD WikiaCall of Duty: Black Ops is the seventh main installment of the Call of Duty series. It is currently being developed by Treyarch.[1] The confirmation of the game's development was leaked by David Kim, a senior animator at Treyarch, in May 2009. Black Ops is said to be set in various locations, including Vietnam and Cuba, [2] and judging from weaponry and dates given in the trailer, it is set at any point between 1960 to 2010. It is planned to be released on November 9, 2010.[3] Treyarch has stated that Black Ops will be much grittier than Modern Warfare 2 and that the differences between World at War and Black Ops will be as significant as the differences between Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.[4] The trailer released on May 18, 2010, which indicated that the game will have a story stressing the fine lines between good and evil, as well as a greater amount of story featuring the Vietnam War than previously suspected. Treyarch has also said that Black Ops will feature considerably more stealth than any previous entries in the Call of Duty series.
