BWII is 1-2 players...how can there be no offline multiplayer?

I hear people saying Battalion wars 2 has no splitscreen. But if you look at the official site for the game, you'll see that it's for 1-2 players. Can someone explain this?

It's online multiplayer. That means you and a friend can play online together, but not on the same Wii, you need two Wiis.

EDIT: Check this out!! I guess there's a possibility for split screen, sounds like a reliable source.

Yea me neither. The last week the whole community was saying there was no split screen. But now theres all these saying that there is....

You Americans can buy the game now, someone go buy it and try it out!

there is definatley a co-op through one wii AND through two wiis with a friend. So you CAN play with your friend on the same wii, or online.

as for SPLIT SCREEN....im not sure. it could be.
