Sounds like you need to get used to playing Ike

Keep playing Ike, then you will understand his limits

Same here. Aether (Up B) can be a good help when it comes to vertical recovery, but it's horrible for horizontal recovery.

Ike is a really slow character, so you can really get beaten up if you don't know how to use him correctly.
