Best all-round option for online Wii-ing??

Ah I lied, it's a DLink Dongle thing. Been hella busy past week but I'm gonna give it a go today and see if I can get my Wii on the interweb.

By the way, as a side note, bought a 1GB mini SD card a couple of days ago too. Figured I could use it for my phone and stick films on it for the Wii (with an adapter of course). I was hella shocked to find out a 700mb xvid/avi turns into a pretty shoddy 2gb or more mjpeg or w/e silly codec the Wii uses.

Damn, they better release an update with support for more file types!! Or if the Wii could netowork with your PC some way : ) now wouldnt that be nice. To be honest, the more I play with it the more Apple Mac it feels. Never a bad thing

It's a little bit more of an elaborate and techy setup, but extending your wifi presence with a more powerful antenna may be what would really help you out - haven't tried it, but the article below shows you how to do it. Looks pretty interesting...

Cheers dude, dont think i'll be ripping my Wii apart though, not my cuppa tea :scared: and it doesnt look like it's too worth it!!

Nah it looks like i'll just wait for the LAN adapter to hit the shelves before i get my Wii online. Or I might risk it and go for a wifi max and hope to god it works heh
