Auto thread lock

Yeah this is getting annoying.
Like a iggly tiggly shity little tag nut
Its nearly every day that somebody (mostly a new member)posts in a topic that has been dead for over a year and trys to "talk to ghosts"
Before the time warp we had a "Auto thread lock" that I think was set at three months old.
Any chance of getting it back on?

As mentioned above, the problem with locking older threads is that new duplicate threads will be started.

Lock after a few months (say two)then get rid.
Unless its in the friend codes or spam section

Dupe threads are only a problem if there's more than two live ones at once
Say if the thread goes to the fifth page consider it deader than a that parrot from that sketch

You know the one that has cased to be
The one that has gone to meet its maker
The one that is most definitely not stunned JUST DEAD!
