I got mine from Argos at 8:30 this morning

O god not argos are you lot stupid or sommit all video games consoles may be £10 cheaper but they defintely don't have them on lauch day!!!!

My Wii arrived fine from Argos yesterday.

The reason to use them was not because they were cheaper (they weren't), but they had a large allocation and took my pre-order 3 weeks ago when quite a lot of other places had sold out of pre-orders.

Yeah I pre-ordered mine from Argos no problem on the evening of 21 November (the day that Amazon sold out in 5 minutes and I just missed out).

It arrived on the release date at 8:30am, can't say fairer than that!

I'm seeking on compensation from Argos, and have already recieved apology letters. Absolutely appauling!

I originally preordered from GAME in October who couldn't guarantee but Argos did. I phoned to check whether this was true, then phoned back a further 3 times to different customer service agents to make sure it was true.

Absolutely stitched up - even a week later. Told so much bullshit - even that the van was on the way to my house.

Though I got mine 2 days after launch through other means
