Why close the petition? It's only been a couple of days, and people are clearly still wanting to sign it! Let people sign the stupid thing, get the numbers even BIGGER, and THEN send it! If you got 3000 in just a couple days, imagine what you could get in a few more days. Petitions are worthless unless the numbers are BIG. Ughhh....whatever.
