My Wii just did a quick update, and gave a warning that any system that had modded may have problem afterward. It is kind of a mandatory update, it doesn't really has a cancel option (unless you press the power button for 4 seconds or whatever as it said).
Doesn't really matter for me, I didn't mod my Wii, and don't bother. about $30 or so a used game is fair (I can sell it out after I finish), $40+ an online play game (like heroes 2) is fair also.
