Zelda masters: What do I get for donating rupees to the man in the Town Square?

There is a man in the Town square in zelda...and he asks you to donate money for the sake of hyrule...do you get anything for donating a certain amount of rupees? Please tell me yes because i've donated about 600 rupees! lol!
