wireless connection locked

hi i did the search for access point to find my wireless connectoi and it did. But the connection is locked and it sayd i need a password. so i types in the same password i use to connecti to my internet but it doesnt work. is there anyway to unlock my connectio? (sorry i dont know much about internet connections)

its a linksys 2.4ghz broadband router. i guess thats all its called

If you use a passphrase to configure your router, the Wii won't work right. You need to manually create your key.

ok i used that link you gave me destiny and i changed the password of my router or whatever now it test for connection and error code 52030 pops up.?

not a expert on this but i think you need the WEP key?

ya its after i enter a WEP key (1 of serveral that work apparently) that error code 52030 comes up
