Will UK games work?

Just a quick question... have recently purchased a Wii and am looking at getting a whole bunch of games. Found it's cheaper to import them from the UK but before I outlay the cash I would like to know if they are going to work. Any help would be great. Cheers

Wii games are region locked, so games from other regions will not play in hardware designated for a different region.

Actually, I believe Australia (your location is Sydney Australia, right earsman?) and UK both produce PAL-region Wiis. Thus both regions sell PAL games, and UK imported games should work on your console. So I'd say you're good, go for it and save a bit of cash. :thumbsup:
