WiiWare Adventure Island

Did anyone buy this game today? I did now im stuck at the first boss that looks like a giant walking bush. I've been throwing boomarangs at his face ,and legs. Only ever so often it says i get a hit on him ,but i cant seem to figure out what is doing it.

is there a trick im missing?

Nevermind i figured it out....you gotta hit him on the sprout on top of his head. I was having a hard time because its hard to it with a boomarang you have a better chance with the axe.

have never played adventure island, but just saw it on the nintendo channel, looks awesome, i will purchase at some point
