Just wondering, 1.are the lights in the wii remote leds and 2. Is it possible to change them? If so how would i go about doing so?

1) Yes
2) Yes. Well, actually, I don't know. If you want to try, however, then what you'll need is a tri-wing screwdriver, a soldering iron, some new LEDs, some resistors (relating to the new voltage of the new LEDs), and I think perhaps a solder-sucker thing to suck up the old solder to remove the old LEDs.

If you are thinking about changing the LEDs, you need to find out how many volts the current ones are, how many volts the new ones are, and find a resistor to compensate.

ive seen some photos from one who did a red green yellow blue in one controller

you could simply put a sheet of plastic over the old square bit, so that it changes the color. quite simple ;)

If you don't know your way around a volt meter or how to solder surface mount electrical components, then you're getting in over your head.
