Symptom:
Wii can be turned on (green light) and no video shows on the television.
-The Wii is hooked up correctly
-There is a video signal to my tele (that being black)
This has been an ongoing issue for a year or two now. I used to turn off the Wii-connect and power it off (to red) when this occurred and this seemed to work most of the time.
I cannot narrow down the problem, it appears to randomly occur.
My Wii is one of the first (not sure if that matters), yes I waited in line opening night.
I have googled my situation and haven't found any solid answers.
I also have problems (randomly) accessing the wii system screen (time, updates, screen, etc.). I'm SURE this is related, however I do not know how.
Any help is appreciated, EXCEPT the suggestion of checking my cables.
