I purchased 2 ION DDR ION Arcade metal dance pads for the Wii Hottest Party DDR game. They came with 2 Mayflash PSX/Gamecube joybox controllers to convert the PS2 connector to the gamecube connectors on the Wii. When I plug in the controllers to the Wii it shuts down with a red light indicator. The Wii will not power up, from a shut down state, when either controller is plugged in. The same problem occurs regardless of whether the controllers are plugged into the dance pads.
The soft dance pad that came with the game does not exhibit this problem.
Any ideas?
