Wii SD Card Movies?

Ok, is there a way for me to put my movies from my PC onto my SD card, then play them on my Wii? Then play them on the Photo Channel, like ones from IGN...

Yup:

1) convert your movie/clip to the file the wii supports
2) drag it to your SD card on your pc
3) plug it in the wii
4) go to the photo channel
5) pick the SD option

There you go.

I never thought of that, but surely for a movie/animation to be viewed on the photo channel it will have to be a image file.

how can you watch a movie that is a image file. . .

I'm guessing that if there was a way, they would of already been sd card movies released.

You need to download a program that converts to Wii standards though. I use Wii Video 9. by Red Kawa I believe. It works very well, you'll take a hit in quality though.
