i have my wii, and i connected it to my router. but i cannot enter the wii forecast or wii news channels. i can't connect to the internet either. when i try, it comes up that i have to do a systme update and when i click ok, it tells me that it cannot connect because i have the most current software. is this because i'm in the uk and it was only released on friday???

If by "internet" you mean the ability to browse the internet. That in't available yet either, but is rumored to be available December 23rd.

you can add people and exchange miis with them or messages or pictures later on they will use it to play against other people online with games
