Wii Online codes?

Even with parental control off or w.e do you still need a persons friend code to play against them online?

Yes, you have to use friend codes no matter what. Also, there are no games that currently support online play. It will probably work like with the DS. You can either play just some random person, but you won't know who they are, or you can play specific friends after exchanging codes. I don't see any reason why they would require friend codes for all online play.
