I have borrowed a Wii of my neightboor, but I can't play it with my Philips 42'' PFL5405 television :( I have tried some options described on the forum, but it's not working for me. Can anyone help me?

knowing nothing about that television it could be a case where you are using standard defination cables (that come with the wii) where you should use high defination cables (sold separately) or vice versa OR for that matter you are just not familar with your tv settings and you should consult the tv instruction manual.

also consider troubleshooting at www.nintendo.com or their toll free consumer help phone number. I should have that number memorized by now...... :D

What connections does it have round the back?
What exactly is wrong with it?

Most Wiis come with a Red white and yellow cable (Maybe a scart block)
Red and white are your sound Yellow is your video(Most important).
Look for a yellow connection on the back

Some tv's have more than one scart, so if you have it connected through a scart box, be sure to check all your av channels.

Its your neighbors wii, ask him nicely to set it up for you.
