Wii mote or Classic Pro

Which do you use?

Anyone use a shell?

I use the Wii mote, no shell. I tried switching but the Classic Pro is too slow for me. Ive also tried using a cheesy pistol shell but with the buttons on top it didn't make much sense.

I use the the wiimote, never used anything else so i cant compare.
My wiimote has an ergonomic clear rubber shell so is nice and comfy.
I actually find the controls really intuitive and more important for a FPS very accurate, i usually rest on a pillow or the arm of the chair to steady my hands.
Like others i've found turning quickly ingame can be too slow but im very slowly turning the sensitivity up as i progress.
Im at the stage now where i only need slight wrist movements to aim.

tip: looking down when turning around seems to make it quicker for me, try it.

I use the Zapper. The buttons are easy to reach and allows for really precise aiming. Plus, it's really fun.

I use the pro controller... Havent really tried the wii mote though.

Any of you used the two enough to compare them?

I'd like to know if im the only one outthere trying to perform a bit and still using the classic pro controller...

Classic Pro. Have a hard time aiming with the Wiimote. With sensitivity turned up on the classic pro, I have no issues.

Out of frustration I decided to try the Pro with the sensitivity at about half. It was so freaking hard... I would make the switch from the Wii mote but to me it would be like starting all over again.

Used the GCC until I unlocked the Anova, at which point I switched to the CCP, which I used until I unlocked the strata, when I finally decided to go over to the wiimote.

Wiimote all the way! Much easier to strafe with it.

I just got a Wii Zapper two days ago. It's awesome! I thought they looked unnecessary at first, but I decided to get one after watching this video.

I was using the Wiimote/Nunchuk before. Some days I was on, other days I just couldn't hit a thing. One wrist doesn't provide that much stability.

However with the Zapper, I'm playing a lot more consistently. Having two holding points on your aimer really stabilises your shot. And hey, it's just more immersive having a gun to hold.

Wiimote all the way. I tried using the CCP and I did terribly with it. I've never really played fps before this game and when I have played on Xbox or PS I never liked the controls. The Wiimote really was built for shooters, cause it just makes sense. If you are having trouble with the Wiimote try the control settings from this thread.

I use these, with a few of my own tweaks and they are awesome settings. I know some of the top players use these control settings.

Oh, I don't use the Zapper or anything, just the Wiimote condom that comes with them.

I have 1 boss (big oversized shell), 2 guns ( 1 wii zapper and 1 3rd party) 2 wheels (1 wii and 1 gamestop), And 1 classic (thin not pro). Also have the balance board. Have not tried the light saber, or fishing rod yet. What I have works great. I like shells. Oh and also have the meijer wii mote shell with 360 thumbstick.
