Hi, I don't presently own a television but do enjoy video games. I would really love to buy a Wii but only if it will work with my Macbook Pro. Ive heard rumors about it working on computer monitors. Can someone help me find out if it will work with mine? Or do I have to buy a special cable to get it to work or something. I live in Germany, and here you have to pay a montly fee to own a T.V. I would like to get around that if at all possible. Thanks.

You need a TV tuner with no lag. I have an EyeTV Hybrid tuner that I said you can hook up a game console to. I haven't tried it though I just use it with my mac HTPC for TV. Its a great product that gives you both analog cable as well as HDTV; I highly recommend it. There are a few options for you just look into tv tuners but EyeTv's tuners are a solid jumping off point.
