Wii loading gamecube backups, system reboots

Anyone have a problem where burnt gamecube games (ntsc) go to load in your wii, and the system just reboots?

why would you expect burned gc discs to load in the Wii without a modchip?

I think their 1.2 release of the boot cd said they will put out a firmware update that correct the audio fix thats associated with our problem.

But then again, it doesn't really say that the audio program causes the wii to reboot.

How do I check what version I have ?

There is only 1 version for the wii key right now. 1.0
