Wii Has Audio, No Video?

In June, there was a lightning storm, and my Wii wouldn't turn on. I thought it was fried. However, my friend brought his AC power adaptor over and my Wii turned on, however I didn't check the console itself to see what's on the screen... I bought new AC and AV cables.. hooked everything up.. and I used the wii remote and I turned on the Wii. However, when I hit "A", I heard the load music but no video. The AV cables ARE hooked up correctly. Help ASAP!

(I'm currently trying to unplug it for 30 minutes)
