wii games not loading

hi guys just brought a us version wii i got 2 game cube games which load ok but i cant play cos of no controllers as of yet and then just the wii sports is it the bowling tennis etc but this game will not load it just keeps telling me there is an error eject the disc and turn off the unit and look in the manual done that doesn`t say to much i`ve tried cleaning it and nothing everything is supposed to be brand new could it be a naff game or console even though the other games load dont really know what to think but don`t want to get any games het just in case it is broke anyone had the same thing happen

did you put it in the right way? lol make sure the top label of the game points to the right.. if its standing... lol if thats not it, call up nintendo
